Where
we started and where
we're going !
After
25 years in the
corporate world, Grant
Hyman decided it was
time to convert his
expertise to his own
specialist consultancy
and so Sales Central
started in late 2000 -
our original trading
name being G & J
Business Services (ACN
095 174 806). Our
intended work was
Business Coaching and
Consulting and also
Administrative and
Bookkeeping help.
Hornsby-Kuringai
initially -
our beginnings were in
the local area to
allow Grant to
'practice what we
preach', i.e. enjoy a
successful balance
between work, children,
pets
and health.
This meant working
with small, local
businesses.
Grant has always tried
to donate time to the
community (including 4 years as a NSW Police Lay Visitor, 6 years as Strata Chairman, member of the local community bank Founding Committee and also Executive Member of the local Chamber of Commerce) and we are
in favour of sponsoring
children in
less fortunate
countries and
circumstances. We were
awarded a finalist's
position with
the local Chamber of
Commerce for our work
which included an
exhibition combining local
businesses and schools
(designed to teach
commerce students a
little about running a
business). The
exhibition was opened
by the former Attorney
General, our
local Member of
Parliament. Now, our
clients are in all
sorts of demographics,
as our philosophy
becomes more popular
with larger
businesses.
Since
starting -
we've performed all
sorts of work for all
sorts of organisations
big and small,
low-tech and
high-tech, private and
public. Some of our
work has been
administrative, some
has been more along
the lines of
documentation (such as
Scorecards) and most
of it has been focused
on building sales
profiles, revenues and
margins. Our focus now
is on helping build
client organisations'
Sales successes - by
Recruiting, Training,
Coaching and
Consulting.
In
February 2005, we
introduced our new
trading name of Sales
Central -
the name change was in
recognition of the
fact that the focus of
our work has been
increasingly towards
helping clients to
build their sales
revenues and profits,
and so it made sense
to adopt a name that
recognised what has
become our
forte.
We
now work with small
and large clients and
look forward to your
enquiry.
